Netherlands ready for Euros after friendly win over Slovakia

One of the favorites of the upcoming Euro 2012 - Dutch team has beaten Slovakia in a friendly match 2-0. The goals came from Kornel Salata (own goal) and Tottenham’s Rafaelvan der Vaart.

Own goal went in as early as the ninth minute of the match, when the left-winger Ibrahim Afellay delivered the ball into penalty area and Salata cut the cross so unlucky that he drove the ball into his own net.

The Dutch had huge advantage, however, until the 75th minutes were not able to beat Everton’s goalkeeper Jan Mucha. Finally it was Rafael van der Vaart, who appeared on the pitch just 25 minutes earlier.
